The Total amount of money has been paid in legal fees/solicitor’s fees for assisting
parties in the Scottish Redress Scheme?

Redress Scotland are an independent body responsible for making decisions on applications for redress. We then tell the Scottish Government the outcome of the decisions and they are responsible for making payments. As such, Redress Scotland does not hold information on the total amount of money that has been paid in legal fees and solicitors fees. You may be able to receive this information from the Scottish Government team: Freedom of Information Scottish Government Under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act Scotland 2002, where public authorities receive requests for information that they do not hold, they must issue notice advising that they do not hold the requested information.
