Redress Scotland is committed to ensuring that survivors receive their application outcome as quickly as possible. Following additional funding for the period October 2025 to March 2026, we have been able to increase our panel capacity allowing us to hold 12 additional 3-person panels, resulting in an additional 90 decisions being made. Nine additional panel members have also joined Redress Scotland’s decision-making body, bringing the total number of panel members in the organisation to 53.

With additional funding from April 2026, we will continue to increase our capacity and reduce the wait times for survivors receiving their decision.
